Pistol Marksmanship basics [01 JUL 17]

REVIEW AND PRACTICE OF THE FUNDAMENTALS OF PISTOL SHOOTING which include the following

  • STANCE 
  • PROPER GRIP
  • AIMING
  • BREATH CONTROL
  • HOLD CONTROL
  • TRIGGER CONTROL
  • FOLLOW-THROUGH

 

We will also work on factors that impact your shot and how to correct those factors. We will work applying and maintaining the correct grip for the modern semi-autos in use today. We will also work on the balance of speed and accuracy.This is all done on the range.

 

Requirements:

  • Functional handgun
  • Spare magazines
  • Appropriate clothing for active shooting
  • Shoes – comfortable with sufficient support to permit a full range of motion. No sandals or flip-flops.
  • Long Pants, Shirt With Higher Collar
  • Baseball hat (highly recommended)
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Hydration system or Bottled water.
  • Handgun cleaning kit.
  • 200 rounds of ammunition
